It has been grounding to explore physical bricks as an object of interaction- like I’m intentionally creating stability for myself brick by brick.

Many of us feel we are on shaky ground as we confront the unknown. For me art is a ritual where I can be vulnerable and let go into the process. I’m currently musing over the idea of trust- and how to embody that.

Zekarias Thompson sent me this musical moment and it prompted this video. The sound felt like it was moving through something- and finding form on the other side.

I played with plaster strips and mannequins as if creating and releasing various impressions and fragments of myself.
