This combination stands out for being bold because it is so simple. I love walking that line- it's so right, but it could be so wrong. To keep the look styled and interesting, see my accessory tips below. If you gotta run a quick errand or feel like relaxing at your local coffee shop try this effortless, playful, and funky outfit combo.

To create the look:

1. Shoes: Old sneaks, running shoes, Chucks. Stick to low socks because this combo goes well with a rolled pant. That little roll takes you from possible frump to statement chic.

2. Jeans- If you rock the vintage high waisted look you will want to tuck your top in and show off your shape. Distressed jeans with holes, rips, and tears is a good go. Be sure to roll your pants up a couple times- keep the roll semi small, but no need to make it look perfect. Or just rock your slightly high water denim and you achieve the same feel. So show off dat ankle.

3. Top- A faded tee of you fav band, simple sweatshirt, or men's button up are all fun options. Choose something that feels casual and unassuming- Think flowy, worn, and slightly see-through. Then add your long coat- try a camel wool- and possibly scrunch up the sleeves.

4. Accessories- Add some final touch! One addition can make a huge difference here- a bright colored beanie, leather baseball cap, tight fashion bun, chunky necklace, layers of rings, cut off gloves, or a clutch are all possibilities that elevate your outfit and add a more complex sophistication to an otherwise modest look.
